Notes on train service

  • Train service amended:
    • Passengers travelling on the S1 should change trains in both directions at Gesundbrunnen; the onward journey will depart from the same platform after 18 minutes (in the direction of Oranienburg) or after 9 minutes (in the direction of Wannsee).
    • The S1 to Oranienburg runs 2 minutes earlier from Gesundbrunnen to Wilhelmsruh. In the opposite direction, the S1 to Gesundbrunnen has an 8-minute stop in Schönholz and runs 8 minutes later from Schönholz to Gesundbrunnen.
  • Platform change:
    • In Gesundbrunnen, the S1 to Oranienburg departs from platform 1 (platform towards Nordbahnhof/Wedding).
      In Bornholmer Straße, the S1 to Oranienburg departs from platform 1 (platform towards the city centre).
      When changing between the S1, S2 and S8 lines, only one platform side change is required in both directions of travel.
