Notes on train service

  • Timetable change:
    The S3 runs: 
    from Alexanderplatz to Zoologischer Garten partly 1 minute earlier.
    In the opposite direction the S3 to Ostkreuz/Friedrichshagen/Erkner runs from Zoologischer Garten to Berlin Hbf approx. 2 minutes earlier.
  • The S7 runs:
    in Grunewald to Potsdam Hbf 1 minute earlier.
    In the opposite direction, the S7 from Wannsee to Grunewald leaves 3 to 4 minutes later.
  • Platform change:
    • At Ostbahnhof, the S9 from BER Airport terminates on platform 9 (platform directing out of the city); to continue in the direction of Alexanderplatz, a platform change is required (the station is equipped barrier-free).
