Strike at the BVG (02.02.) - S-Bahn runs and offers additional journeys

The S-Bahn will not be affected by the trade union Ver.di's token strike on Monday, February 2.

S-Bahn Berlin trains and Deutsche Bahn's regional services will not be affected by the trade union Ver.di's token strike from 3 a.m. on Monday (February 2) until 3 a.m. on Tuesday.

During the strike, the S-Bahn is offering additional journeys on the S1. There will be a 5-minute interval between Zehlendorf and Potsdamer Platz stations throughout the day

Bus services set up for construction work on the S-Bahn will also run during the strike.

Since the stop at Wedding station will be canceled until probably February 9 due to the fire damage from New Year's Eve, the S-Bahn is setting up a replacement service with buses between Gesundbrunnen and Wedding for the duration of the strike.

Further information on the strike can be found at bvg.de/streik and from the respective transport companies.
