The following information on accessibility applies to the website of S-Bahn Berlin GmbH at sbahn.berlin.
As part of the Deutsche Bahn Group, S-Bahn Berlin GmbH has implemented adjustments and improvements in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) — which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council on accessibility requirements for products and services — and the associated Accessibility Strengthening Ordinance (BFSGV).
With these efforts, Deutsche Bahn aims to fulfil its social responsibility as Germany’s largest mobility provider and ensure that all people have equal access to our information and digital services.
We follow the harmonized European standard EN 301 549 and the latest version 2.2 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Level AA, as the technical requirements for accessibility.
This application largely meets the current WCAG criteria. It is subject to continuous self-assessment and review processes and is being optimized to further meet these requirements.
