Monthly subscription ticket for school students

Tickets are available from the following:
 

• Via an online subscription
• S-Bahn customer centres
• All sales points

Customers who want a personal subscription must submit a completed subscription form. This is available on-site or here as a download.

To be able to subscribe to this service, you must provide...

• as proof either the pupil 's ID or a certificate from the school (not older than 30 days)
• a passport photo

order the subscription ticket (german) ➔ select "Schüler (außer Tarifbereich Berlin AB)"

Where and how long the ticket is valid:

• For all public transport services (S-Bahn, U-Bahn, regional train, tram, ferry, bus).
• Valid in the selected zones.
• The holder has around-the-clock travel.
• The ticket is issued to a specific person and is non-transferable.
• The ticket is valid only if you have a VBB-fahrCard. To obtain this card, you must present either your pupil 's ID or a certificate from the school (not older than 30 days) and a passport photo.

The ticket is available to the following groups:

• Persons subject to compulsory education at general education schools in Berlin or Brandenburg
• Children from the age of 6 who do not yet attend school

Don't forget to renew your subscription!

The subscription must be renewed every year online by abo-antrag.de or by presenting a valid student ID (Schülerausweis) when submitting an extension application.

Starter card

A subscription starts on the first day of a month. Anyone who wants to travel before the 1st can use the starter card.

VBB-fahrCard

People with this subscription receive a VBB-fahrCard. This card's chip stores the subscription's details.
